Kleine Bitte um Input: Medientransparenz, Qualitätssicherung und Blogs

20 Menschen aus ganz Europa (darunter ich) werden am Wochenende in Bristol an einem Forum an der „University of the West End of England“ teilnehmen, das die Schnittstellen und Einflüsse zwischen neuen und traditionellen Medien besprechen will. Obwohl das Programm nur 1,5 Tage dauert, ist das Feld der zu diskutierenden Fragen ziemlich breit. Im Groben geht es darum, Ideen zu diskutieren, wie Blogger besser zusammenarbeiten könnten, um Medien stärker in die Verantwortung für Qualitätsarbeit zu nehmen. Ich gehe schwer davon aus, dass einige von euch lesenswerten Input in Form von Links oder Kommentaren liefern können, den ich noch nicht kenne. Es würde mich sehr freuen, wenn ich ein bisschen davon nach England mitnehmen könnte.

Blogging is whose business?: Why blog – to set the agenda, earn a living, challenge the mainstream? And what are the quality control issues?

Regulating the mainstream and the margins: A chance to display and discuss the relative values of online regulatory mechanisms including the NUJ ‘kitemark’ and the Corrigo technique.

Talking together: Creating an international forum for and about bloggers – to share techniques, achievements, problems etc.

Protecting free speech: Is the blogosphere a free for all or could it benefit from solidarity and organisation at a national or transnational level?
