Unsere Sprachdebatte wird natürlich auch anderswo geführt. Zum Beispiel in England. Tim Radford hat da im Guardian 25 Gebote für JournalistInnen aufgelistet. Sie sind nicht neu, Radford hat sie für ein kleineres Publikum schon vor 15 Jahren verfasst. Er begründet sie genauso gut verständlich, wie er es von anderen fordert: „Ich fragte mich, was man beim Schreiben einer Story nie vergessen darf. Die Antwort war laut und deutlich: Dass sie jemand lesen soll.“ Die Gebote kann sich jeder kurz durchlesen, der Texte schreibt. Vor allem für Punkt 20 hätte ich den Mann gern umarmt.
